Performance
On the
performance part, these vehicles tend to differ. The Audi A7 features three
powertrain options, whereas the Audi A7e only features one powertrain option.
The A7 is powered by a V-6, which churns out 335 horsepower. Its available
powertrain options include a V-6 with 444 horsepower and a V-8 pumping out 591
horsepower. The A7e features a turbocharged four-cylinder, which combines with
an electric motor to churn out 362 horsepower.
Although the powertrain setups differ, both Audi
models offer great performance. A responsive steering wheel accompanies both
models, resulting in poised handling at any given place, even around Long
Island, where most areas have winding roads. Traveling to Nassau County with
either of these Audi models is a good choice, given that they come standard
with a great adaptive suspension, which enhances the driving dynamics.
The electric driving range of the Audi A7e is 26
miles, and it gets 75mpg, combined both city and highway. Its battery pack can
be charged using a household 240-volt charger. It will take about three hours
to recharge the battery. The base engine of the Audi A7 records 30 mpg on the
highway and 21 mpg in the city, which are good ratings for a large luxury
car.
